I WANT TO...
- Have a mobile-first repository of January 9th events that includes curated materials from MuCPa's exhibit, an oral history project and links to other institutions so it becomes a one-stop "shopping site"
- Filter content by search bar, folders and preset tags so I can find information easily.
- Separate audience contributions from vetted primary sources so I know what has been professionally curated vis a vis those produced via an oral history project.
- The stories I share to be protected from reuse by commercial entities so nobody profits from my experience.
- Find mediated content so I can avoid spam, bots, and fake entries.
- Donate using a credit card or a direct banking transaction so I can help sustain the website and its physical exhibits in the long term.
- Access to all financial information regarding donated funds so I can assess its uses
- Find information about the January 1964 exhibits and public programs of the Panama City Museum so I can take my family and friends.
- Find information about the January 1964 incidents on a mobile phone so I can do my homework.
- See that more than 90% of the videos are less than 3 minutes long so I don´t get bored.
- Upload my story and or pictures using my cell phone in less than three clicks so it is easy to use and navigate.
- Be notified that my content has been received so I know I have done the upload correctly.
- Share my experience via social media so I can let people know what I and other witnesses say about their experiences.
- Have no comments allowed on site so we avoid name calling, nasty debates, etc.
- Own my digital submission so I keep my intellectual property rights.
- Find suggestions for specific lesson plans based on Panamanian curricular standards so I can use them for classes.
- Find most content in Spanish and free from grammatical and typographical errors so I can read and understand it.
