Content Workflow
Content workflow defines how content (words, pictures, video, etc.) will be made, reviewed, updated, and managed.
Content team roles and responsibilities:
- Content for this site will be created by 1) users who upload their pictures and stories about the January 1964 incidents in Panama and 2) staff from MuCPa who will upload a) public domain information about these events obtained from curatorial research; and b) public program events organized by the museum
- This website aims to collect 200 oral history contributors from the public which will be reviewed by a MuCPa staff member before making them public. Tags will be assigned by MuCPa from a previously curated list approved by the Museum´s director. Content should be updated as it is produced by users up to one year after the site is launched. Additional curatorial content might be added as new information is uncovered and shared.
- An outsourced design team will format and upload the content for the digital platforms using the information gathered from researching MuCpa´s physical exhibits.
- Besides oral histories, new archival content can be suggested by users and museum staff and submitted to the curator for review and approval. Content should be reviewed by the curator of the exhibit once every month while the site is live up to one year after launch.
- A member of MuCpa´s marketing/communication staff will be tasked with uploading information about current events organized by the museum. The museum´s marketing department will also be in charge of a) its promotion via analog and social media; and b) developing relationships with local partners to canvass support.
